The highlight of this month's programme is the Chinese and Lunar New Year celebrations at Wessex Lane, complimented by Spring Festival activities across campuses and the city.

Celebrate Chinese and Lunar New Year

Join us for the biggest halls celebration of the season β an evening filled with culture, performance, and community spirit. This free event brings together traditional and contemporary elements of Chinese and Lunar New Year festivities, offering a vibrant and immersive experience for all residents.
What to expect:
- Lion dancing, bringing energy, colour and good fortune into the new year
- Chinese drumming and music, performed live to showcase powerful rhythms and traditional sounds
- Dance performance and workshop, with the opportunity to learn some of the movements yourself
- Tai Chi performance and workshop, led by experienced practitioners offering calm, flowing exercises
- Delicious food available to purchase, so come hungry and ready to try something new
