Make the most of free gym and swim at Jubilee

If you're staying on or near campus over the winter break, we've got something to brighten up your winter days. You might be looking to maintain your fitness routine, try something new, or simply take a break from studying. With the Active for Student Christmas Offer, Southampton Sport is here to help you stay moving, motivated, and connected.

What's the offer?

From Monday 15 December 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026, all University of Southampton students who remain in Southampton during the holiday period can enjoy free access to the gym and swimming pool at Jubilee Sports Centre.

That's right, completely FREE! And no, you don't need a Southampton Sport membership to take part.

Who can use it?

This offer is open to all UoS students staying on or nearby campus during winter break. Whether you're here for work, research, travel reasons, or simply enjoying a quieter festive season... you're welcome to get involved.

How to access your free sessions

It's really easy to access Active for Christmas:

1. Head to the Jubilee Sports Centre reception
2. Let the team know you'd like to use the Active for Student Christmas offer
3. Enjoy free entry to the gym or pool

No booking. No membership checks. Just turn up and get active!

Why not make movement part of your break?
