Take a study break and meet some furry friends this May

We're delighted to announce that the much-loved petting zoo is making a return to halls this May.

On Wednesday 21 May, residents are welcome to come along and meet a fantastic selection of friendly animals. Taking place outside MON-X at Wessex Lane, this popular event offers the perfect opportunity to step away from your studies, enjoy the outdoors, and spend some time with some very adorable four-legged visitors.

From 14:00-15:30, the petting zoo will be home to a pony, two baby goats, a pig, and two lambs. Whether you're an animal lover, in need of a little stress relief, or simply curious to meet the animals up close, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Events like these area a great way to relax, connect with friends, and make the most of your halls experience: especially during a busy point in the academic calendar.

No booking is required. Just turn up and enjoy the atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you there.
