Meet Your RLAs: Wessex Lane
Hi! We are your ResLife Assistants (RLAs) at Wessex Lane this year.
We are a team of student ambassadors dedicated to welcoming to your new home as well as supporting you while you live at Wessex Lane.
Throughout the year, we'll be running free ResLife events in the Boiler House across the academic year, including six weeks of weekly activity to help you make friends and have fun from Welcome Week to Halloween.
Our Outreach RLAs will be visiting your flats to say hello, and make sure your time living at Wessex Lane and studying at the University of Southampton is the best it can be.
Scroll down to meet the team and be sure to say hi when you see us around halls. We can't wait to meet you!

"The transition to university isn't a magical, overnight process. Itβs built in small, sometimes awkward moments. Itβs that first hesitant conversation over a boiling kettle, figuring out which Unlink bus actually gets you to Highfield campus on time. Take the pressure off. You don't need to meet your lifelong best friends tonight, and you don't have to go to every single event. Just unpack your favourite mug, make a cup of tea, and leave your door cracked open. We are here for you, for the big questions, the inevitable lost keys, and everything in between."
