1. Southampton City Art Gallery

Explore one of the finest art collections in the South of England, with beautiful European art dating back to the Renaissance. (Free admission)!

2. Tudor House & Gardens

Tudor House is Southampton's most important historic building, revealing over 800 years of history in one fascinating location at the heart of the Old Town. While some aspects may require a fee, the surrounding area in the Old Town is free to explore, featuring historic buildings and the Titanic Musicians' Memorial.

3. Southampton Common

If you're fancying a walk with your mates, or a perfect picnic spot, Southampton Common is what you're looking for. It's a massive green space with a woodland area, ponds, seating areas, and an ornamental lake! 

4. Mayflower Park

Another great walking spot is Mayflower Park, in the old part of the city. It has stunning views over the River Test, perfect for watching the sunset. It also hosts large events such as the Boat Show in September.
